As an instructor and educator, I believe in creating an inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. I believe that a good learning experience is a fun experience.

As a researcher, I am broadly interested in studying animal cognition from interdisciplinary perspectives, including evolutionary, neurobiological, psychological and philosophical perspectives.
